- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour milk
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Mix first 2 ingredients; beat well.

2Add eggs, vanilla and milk; beat well.

3Add flour and baking soda, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Refrigerate overnight.

5Roll on floured board; cut to desired size.

6Bake at 375° on lower oven rack for 5 minutes, then on upper rack for 5 minutes.
