- 2 lb. halibut fillets
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 1/2 medium onion
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Slice halibut into fillets 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick; put in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Pour wine over fish; let set 1/2 hour. Slice onion very thin and scatter over fish.

3Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together; spread on top.

4Sprinkle cheese on top.

5Bake at 400° until fish is just set.

6Do not overcook.
