- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Beat shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs and continue beating for 2 minutes.

3Add pumpkin and milk, alternating with flour and other dry ingredients.

4Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

5Bake in a Bundt pan at 350°.

6Cake is done when it pulls away from sides of pan.

7Decorate with candy corn while still hot.
