- whole wheat bread dough (enough for 2 loaves)
- 1 to 2 lb. ham, cut into 16 cubes (approximately 1-inch square)
- 1 lb. Swiss cheese, cut into 16 cubes (approximately 1-inch square)
Directions

1Prepare bread dough according to instructions through the first raising.

2Punch down dough and divide into 16 equal pieces.

3Shape pieces into round balls and flatten.

4Place one piece of ham and one piece of cheese onto each dough.

5Bring dough up and around ham and cheese, shaping into a ball.

6Seal dough carefully.

7Place on baking sheet.

8Cover.

9Leave in warm place to rise until double. Butter tops of rolls and place in preheated 375° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until tops are golden.
