- 15 slices of bread
- 2 c. ham, cut up
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese, or 1 c. Cheddar and 1 c. Mozzarella
- butter
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Using a small glass, cut 12 circles out of 12 slices of bread. Break up the leftover bread and add to greased 9 x 13 pan.

2Top with ham and cheese.

3Butter the bread circles and put them, buttered side up, over cheese.

4Beat eggs, milk and salt and pour over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

5Bake at 300° for 1 hour, uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

6Let it sit up to 10 minutes before serving.

7A rope of keilbasa, cut across and then in quarters, can be used instead of ham.
