  • 8 slices bread, cubed (Pepperidge Farm is good)
  • 1 lb. ham, cubed
  • 3/4 lb. American cheese, cubed (Velveeta)
  • 7 to 8 medium eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

    Place bread cubes and ham in bottom; top with cheese.

    Combine eggs, milk and mustard. Pour over cheese layer.

    Top with margarine.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 325°.
