  • 8 slices bread, cubed and crusts removed
  • 1 lb. ham, cubed
  • 3/4 lb. American cheese
  • 8 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 3/4 c. milk
  • dash of dried mustard
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Butter 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Place bread crumbs and ham in dish.

    Top with cheese.

    Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt. Pour over cheese.

    Pour butter over it all.

    Refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 325°.
