- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, cut
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
- 2 c. cooked ham
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 4 pieces toast (triangled)
Directions

1Cook asparagus and drain well.

2Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

3Put onion in and saute onions with the mushrooms.

4Remove from heat.

5Put ham in skillet.

6Grate cheese and add to skillet. Mix rest of ingredients.

7Add and mix it all very well.

8Add asparagus and mix lightly.

9Line sides of casserole with toast. Cover with mixture.

10Sprinkle with cheese and some remaining bread crumbs.

11Broil 5-inches from heat for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
