  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Onion(or 2 Tablespoons Fresh Onion, Minced VERY Finely)
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Prepared Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 cups Ketchup
  • 1 pound Thinly Shaved Smoked Deli Ham
  • 6 whole Sandwich Buns(or 8 Smaller Homemade Rolls)
  • 6 slices Muenster Cheese(or Swiss)

Directions

    Melt butter in saucepan.Whisk in the onion, vinegar, mustard, worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.

    In a small bowl whisk together the water and flour until well combined.

    Slowly add this to the mixture in the pan.

    Add in the ketchup.

    Bring to a simmer and whisk constantly until mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.

    Chop your ham until it is in small thin shreds.

    Add it to the sauce in the pan and slowly heat the mixture.

    Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, partially covered, stirring occasionally

    Scoop mixture onto individual rolls and top with a slice of Muenster or Swiss cheese.
