  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. chopped ham
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 1 can green asparagus
  • 1/4 c. grated cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. uncooked tapioca
  • buttered bread crumbs

Directions

    Arrange layers of ham and asparagus in a 2-quart casserole dish.

    Mix remaining ingredients, except bread crumbs, and pour over ham and asparagus.

    Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes in a 375° oven.
