Ham Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. diced ham
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • American cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Saute seasonings in margarine; add cream of mushroom soup (add a little water), 3 or 4 slices American cheese and 1/3 block Cheddar cheese.

    Simmer on low until cheese is melted.

    Add ham. Boil macaroni in another pot; drain.

    Add macaroni to mixture. Cook until seasonings are tender.

    Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour in casserole dish.

    Top with American cheese.

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
