Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ham ground together with 1 1/2 lb. fresh lean pork
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. pineapple juice

Directions

    Grind together ham and pork.

    Add eggs, cracker crumbs and milk.

    Make into a loaf.

    Mix together vinegar, brown sugar, water, dry mustard and pineapple juice.

    Bring to boil and pour over loaf.

    Bake for 2 hours at 350°.

    Baste often.

    Watch closely at end as syrup burns easily.
