- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell
- nutmeg
- 4 slices crisp bacon
- 1/4 onion, diced and sauteed
- 8 slices ham, shredded
- 8 thin slices Swiss cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 c. light cream, heated
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°. Sprinkle bacon and onion on bottom of crust. Add half of ham, 4 slices of cheese, rest of ham and then cheese. Beat eggs and mustard. Add hot cream; beat. Pour over ham and cheese. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until custard is set.
