  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears or broccoli
  • 6 (2 to 3 oz.) slices boiled or baked ham
  • 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
