Hamburger-Corn Casserole

  • 2 lb. cooked, crumbled hamburger
  • 1 lb. can corn, drained
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. chili powder or diced
  • 1 can biscuits or your own
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. cornmeal

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together, except biscuits, butter and cornmeal.

    Place in a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Dip biscuits in melted butter, then cornmeal. Bake an additional 20 minutes, or until biscuits are brown. Freezes well.

    Add biscuits later.
