- 1 lb. lean hamburg
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 c. rice, uncooked
- chow mein noodles
Directions

1Saute onion and celery in shortening of your choice.

2Add hamburg and cook until no red is showing.

3In casserole, empty both soups and one can of water; add the soy sauce.

4Add the meat mixture and rice; mix well.

5Cover and bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour.

6Remove; sprinkle the noodles evenly and return to oven to cook 20 to 30 minutes more (do not add salt).

7Bake, uncovered, after the noodles are added.
