- 1 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 c. canned whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. celery, cut up
- 1/2 c. green pepper, cut up
- 1/2 c. onion, cut up
- 1 lb. uncooked ground beef
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Pour 1 cup tomato sauce over rice and corn.

2Add water, salt and pepper to taste.

3Add celery, green pepper and onion.

4Crumble beef over top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

5Add second can of tomato sauce and 1/4 can of water.

6Cover with 4 strips of bacon, cut in half.

7Use a 2-quart baking dish with tight cover. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8Uncover and bake about 30 minutes longer until bacon is crisp.
