Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick (salt)
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp. coarse ground black pepper (optional)
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together; mix well.

    Form into long rolls, approximately 1 1/2 to 2-inches.

    Wrap in plastic wrap.

    Place in freezer for 24 hours.

    Remove plastic wrap and place on baking sheet.

    Should be very little drippings.

    Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.

    I turn oven up to 450° for an added 10 minutes.
