  • 2 lb. browned hamburger with drippings
  • 2 tsp. beef bouillon
  • 3 or 4 c. water
  • French onion soup mix or 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 potato, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt

    Brown the hamburger; keep the drippings.

    In a large kettle, add the hamburger mixture and all of the other ingredients. Simmer for at least 1/2 hour and serve.
