  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cups Onions, Diced
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 cups Celery, Diced
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 14 ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 14 ounces, weight Tomato Sauce
  • 4 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Corn, Frozen
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoons Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoons Oregano
  • 1-1/2 cup Uncooked Pasta, Small Size Such As Small Shells Or Elbow
  • Shredded Cheese, To Serve (optional)

Directions

    In a large pot, add olive oil, onion and garlic; saute for about 2 minutes. Add celery and saute for about another minute.

    Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain the oil out or cook until it evaporates.

    Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, corn and seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Cook until pasta is done (about 10 minutes).

    Serve with a sprinkle of cheese if desired.
