- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 2 c. shredded carrots
- salt and pepper
Directions

1In Dutch oven, cook ground beef.

2Add tomatoes and tomato juice.

3Bring to boil and add onion.

4Shred cabbage and carrots; add to pot.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6Simmer about 30 minutes. Freezes well.
