Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef or chuck
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
- bacon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. flour
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon
- onion flakes (optional)
Directions

1Make 2 hamburger patties per person.

2Cook 2 slices bacon per person until crisp.

3Crumble bacon and place between 2 uncooked hamburger patties.

4In same skillet of bacon drippings, cook the bacon filled steaks on each side until done.

5Remove from skillet and drain grease, leaving approximately 1 tablespoonful.

6Add the jar of mushrooms and 1 teaspoon beef bouillon.

7Onion flakes can be added if you desire.

8Saute for 5 minutes.

9Add 1 teaspoon flour; mix and stir constantly until thick.

10Serve over steaks. Good with baked potatoes and green salad.
