Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 6 potatoes, diced
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 6 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 to 1 c. any vegetables
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions

1You may use any vegetables you have on hand or fresh, frozen, canned or my favorite, leftovers (peas, green beans, corn, lima beans, okra, squash, mangoes, etc.).

2Brown the hamburger in a large kettle.

3Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and all fresh vegetables that must be cooked, except tomatoes.

4Cook over medium heat about 1 hour.

5When vegetables are almost tender, add all other ingredients (including tomatoes) and cook until done, usually about 20 minutes more.
