Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. (12) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 lg. baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 3 cups water (approximately)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained (optional)

Directions

    In large pot, crumble ground beef and season (salt, pepper, etc) to taste; pour approximately 3 cups water over ground beef (enough to cover the meat).

    Add remaining ingredients, and cook at medium heat until potatoes are tender and cooked completely through.
