  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 or 3 slices bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1/2 onion, chopped, or can use minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • enough milk to moisten bread pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In mixing bowl, slightly beat egg.

    Add bread pieces, onion, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper; mix together.

    Add enough milk to moisten.

    Crumble ground chuck into bowl and mix well.

    Form into patties and fry in small amount of oil over medium heat.
