- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- dash of pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or 1/2 to 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (10.5 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- Poppy Seed Noodles (recipe follows)
- fresh parsley or chives, chopped
Directions

1In a large skillet, melt butter or margarine and brown onion; add ground meat and cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.

2Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Stir in soup and heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.

4Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

5Stir in sour cream and heat through. Ladle over Poppy Noodles; garnish with fresh chopped chives.
