Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. elbow macaroni (about 3/4 lb.)
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Cook elbows until tender.

2In skillet, melt butter.

3Saute onion and garlic until tender.

4Add beef and cook, stirring, until brown.

5Drain and stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer 5 minutes.

6Spread beef mixture into bottom of greased 2-quart casserole.

7Toss cooked elbows with grated cheese. Arrange on top of meat mixture and pack down.

8Combine eggs and milk; pour over elbows.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
