Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1/2 lb. Crisco
  • 1 c. mashed potatoes (save water)
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. warm potato water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 to 6 c. flour
  • 1 cake yeast

Directions

    Combine ingredients and blend thoroughly with hands.

    Place in refrigerator overnight.

    Let rise in pans 2 hours before baking. Roll out and make nut rolls or any other filling will work.
