Ingredients
- 10 (about 1/2 lb.) medium-sized mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 4 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced or pressed
- 3 Tbsp. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 Tbsp. dry white or red wine
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. fine cracker crumbs
Directions

1Remove stems from mushrooms and save for other uses.

2Brush melted butter over mushroom caps, coating thoroughly.

3Stir together remaining ingredients until well blended.

4Place mushrooms, cavity side up, on large rimmed baking sheet.

5Evenly mound filling into each mushroom, pressing it in lightly.

6Broil about 6 inches below broiler until bubbly and lightly browned (about 3 minutes).

7Serve warm with napkins.

8Makes 10 stuffed mushrooms.

9Can be doubled, tripled, etc., as is necessary.

10They are so good, they won't last long.
