  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. white corn syrup
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 10 drops flavoring of your choice (cherry, lemon extract)
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Mix in saucepan.

    Place on heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

    Stir no more.

    Cook to hard crack stage (290°) on candy thermometer.

    Pour candy onto a buttered pan.

    Let it get cold.

    Tap pan on counter to bust into pieces.
  8. 8
    Sprinkle with sugar.
