Ingredients
- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. Karo syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. flavoring of choice (I use the oils found in drugstores or candy specialty shops)
- food coloring (optional)
Directions

1Boil first 3 ingredients to 300° hard crack.

2Use candy thermometer.

3While candy is cooking, prepare cookie sheets with 10x powdered sugar, making several long tunnels.

4Have a second pan with 1/2 flavoring ready.

5When candy reaches 300°, add 1/2 of mixture to pan.

6Add another 1/2 flavoring to cooking pan.

7Pour into cookie sheets in long, thin strips.

8Work quickly but carefully.

9Best to do with 2 people.

10Let cool, then break into pieces.

11Will need 3 to 4 prepared sheets.

12Recipe will make 2 flavors in divided, or add 1 teaspoon for 1 flavor.
