- 3 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. Loranna flavoring (any kind)
- powdered sugar (optional)
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan.

2Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310° or until drops of syrup from hard brittle threads in cold water.

4Remove from heat after boiling has ceased. Stir in flavoring and food coloring.

5Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet or powdered sugar on foil.

6Pour the candy on powdered sugar.

7Break into pieces.

8Store in airtight container. Makes 2 pounds.
