- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. coloring
Directions

1Combine sugar, Karo syrup and water in saucepan.

2Bring to a boil.

3Stir often over medium heat.

4Boil until 310° on candy thermometer or until candy crackles in cold water.

5Add flavoring and food coloring.

6Put in buttered cookie sheet.

7When it starts to harden, cut with kitchen scissors.

8Or, for a fast and easy way, use a pizza cutter and snap pieces apart.

9For the finishing touch, put candy in powdered sugar.

10It will also keep it from sticking together.
