- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 3 tsp. Lorann cinnamon flavor
- powdered sugar (optional)
Directions

1Mix first three ingredients in a large saucepan.

2Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310° or until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water.

4Remove from heat.

5After boiling has ceased, very cautiously, stir in flavoring and coloring.

6Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet, topped with powdered sugar.

7Cool, break into pieces.

8Store in airtight containers.

9Makes more than two pounds.
