- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. desired food coloring
- 1/4 tsp. desired flavoring*
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Mix sugar, water and corn syrup in a large saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches 300° on candy thermometer or hard-crack stage.

3Remove from heat.

4Add food coloring and flavoring; mix well.

5Pour into well-greased cookie pans; cool, enough to touch.

6Cut with scissors into bite size pieces; dust with powdered sugar.

7Store in airtight containers.
