  • 1/4 pt. ammonia
  • 1 box Banner lye
  • 1/2 c. Borax
  • 1 qt. cold water

Directions

    Mix Borax and lye together.

    When dissolved and cooled, add melted grease.

    Stir well, then add ammonia.

    Stir again until it thickens.
  5. 5
    Let stand until morning, then cut in squares.
