- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. Crisco oil
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add cooking oil and buttermilk. Sift together self-rising flour, sugar and soda.

3Add to liquid and mix well.

4Cover with Saran Wrap and store in refrigerator. Will keep up to 3 weeks.

5Take out amount needed and knead on floured board.

6No need to let rise.

7Bake at 450° for about 10 minutes or until brown.
