- 1/3 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 c. hot, diced, cooked beets
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Directions

1Mix sugar to taste, salt and cornstarch in top of double boiler.

2Add vinegar and cook over boiling water until smooth and thick.

3Add butter, onion and beets and let heat for 30 minutes.
