- 1 qt. fresh cooked beets or 2 cans sliced beets
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. beet water
Directions

1Mix sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and water.

2Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.

3Add beets.

4Stir well.

5Can add 1 tablespoons butter.

6Serve warm or cold.
