- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 c. cooked beets, cut in fancy shapes
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch.

2Add vinegar and water; boil 5 minutes.

3Add beets and let stand over low heat 30 minutes.

4Just before serving, bring to boiling point and add butter.
