- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Drain beets; save liquid and add vinegar.

2Make a thin paste with cornstarch.

3Add rest of liquid.

4Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

5Soak raisins in very hot water until plump.

6Drain well; add butter, sugar, raisins and beets.

7Heat thoroughly, stirring often.
