  • 1 can beets
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Use 1/2 of liquid in can.

    Pour in saucepan.

    Mix together vinegar, cornstarch, sugar and salt.

    Bring to a boil; add beets and butter.

    Heat until hot all the way through.
