  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 c. sliced, cooked beets
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Combine sugar and cornstarch; add water, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Add beets and butter and cook over low heat 20 minutes.

    Serve hot.
