- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cut beets in slices or cubes.

2Mix sugar and cornstarch.

3Add vinegar and water; boil for 5 minutes.

4Add beets to hot sauce and let stand at least 30 minutes.

5Just before serving, bring to a boil and add butter.
