- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Drain beets, saving 2 tablespoons beet liquid.

2Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.

3Add vinegar and beet liquid.

4Cook, stirring constantly until thick and clear.

5Add beets and 1 tablespoon butter.

6Heat.

7Makes 3 to 4 servings.
