- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch.

2Add liquids and boil for 5 minutes or until thickened.

3Drain beets well.

4Add to mixture and let stand for 1/2 hour over very low light.

5To reheat, add a piece of butter.
