- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. white distilled vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Drain beets. Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add vinegar. Let sauce boil for 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter. Pour sauce over beets. Let stand to absorb the sweet and sour flavor of sauce.
