- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. sliced, cooked beets
- 1 small onion, sliced thin
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.

2Add water, vinegar and salt and bring to boil, stirring.

3Add beets and onion; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

4Stir in butter until melted.
