- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water (from canned beets)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can sliced beets (about 2 c.)
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch; add vinegar and water from beets. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.

2Add beets and simmer 30 minutes.

3When ready to serve, bring to a boil and add butter. Serves 4.
