Ingredients: 4 c. raw apples, peeled and sliced; 3 c. flour; 1 c. oil; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 c. walnuts, chopped; 2 c. sugar; 2 eggs; 1 Tbsp. vanilla; 2 tsp. soda; 1 c. raisins

Directions

Grease and flour 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Combine sugar and apples; let set 1 hour. Beat eggs, vanilla and oil until frothy.

Mix in 1/4 of dry ingredients.

Blend in apples, walnuts, raisins and remaining dry ingredients.

Place in greased and floured cake pan or 9 x 12-inch glass dish.
